Tokyo

A journey months long, measured in faces and stories.

85 giorni in un altro universo

Living in Tokyo for two and a half months felt like stepping into a different dimension, where respect and order are woven into every gesture—from the outdoor smoking bans to the impeccable cleanliness of the streets. We weren't just tourists; we experienced the heart of the city by preparing sushi and okonomiyaki at the homes of Japanese friends and feeling the electric energy of the Giants at the Tokyo Dome. We spent hours playing volleyball and basketball in massive, perfectly organized sports centers and hunting for hidden treasures among the shelves of Bookoff. Between the restorative silence of the onsen and the best ramen in history at Sumiya, we truly immersed ourselves in the local cuisine and the magic of Hanami picnics under the cherry blossoms. From the wild energy of karaoke boxes to the quiet harmony of the crowds, Tokyo taught us that millions can live together without ever stepping on each other's toes. It is an experience that stays with you, changing how you see the world.

Hanami

Hanami is the ancient Japanese tradition of viewing cherry blossoms, a collective ritual that turns parks into pink clouds where people gather for picnics to celebrate nature's fleeting beauty.

Shibuya & Shinjuku

Shibuya is the city’s tireless beating heart, a whirlwind of neon lights and trends where the famous scramble crossing perfectly embodies Tokyo’s vibrant and organized soul.

Skyscrapers

Tokyo’s skyscrapers carve out an infinite futuristic skyline that, after sunset, transforms the metropolis into a sparkling ocean of lights.
